Who needs a C1 visa?

Everyone who…

• … want to travel as a tourist to Indonesia.
• … wants to stay longer than 60 days in Indonesia
• … is not eligible for a Visa On Arrival (see Visa On Arrival country list for Indonesia)
• … is unsure how long you want to stay in Indonesia and want to keep the possibility open to extending their stay up to 180 days
• … is planning to apply for another visa without leaving the country (for example you plan to apply for Retirement Visa (KITAS), Family/Spourse Visa (KITAS), Investor KITAS, etc.)

From the time the Tourist Visa is issued, it is valid for 90 days, meaning you need to enter Indonesia within that period; otherwise, the visa becomes invalid. Upon entry, the visa is valid for 60 days with the option to extend twice for 60 days each.

Please note that this type of visa is currently unavailable for passport holders of Afghanistan, Guinea, Israel, Liberia, Niger, Nigeria, North Korea, or Somalia.

We have divided the visa requirements into two subsections. In the first section, you will find the requirements for the application, and in the second, the necessary details for your flight and entry into Indonesia.

Visa Application Requirements

1. Color Copy of Passport ID Page
A scan of the ID page is required. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry into Indonesia. Proper scans are recommended, but if you take photos instead, ensure that all corners are visible and no fingers are visible. All letters and numbers must be readable.

2. Passport Photo/Profile Picture
At least 3.5 x 4.5 cm, 100KB, and 400x600px. You must face the camera directly, wear formal attire, and the background must be white or light-colored. You shouldn’t be positioned too far or too close to the camera. A selfie is accepted as long as the resolution is high and you are facing straight to the camera.

For departure and entry

Please have on hand the following documents for your flight check-in and entry into Indonesia:

1. Your Passport
Valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into Indonesia. If you are planning to extend your visa, your passport needs to be valid for 6 months on the time of the extension.

2. Return Ticket
In addition to your flight ticket TO Indonesia, you may be required to show a return or onward ticket when departing for or entering Indonesia. Some airlines may refuse boarding if the ticket is not within 60 days of your entry into Indonesia. The immigration officer in Indonesia can also deny entry if you fail to show a return or onward ticket. If you don’t have a valid return or onward ticket, we can make a flight reservation for you. We don’t charge you any extra cost for this.

3. Your Visa
You will receive the e-visa with a barcode from us (please print it out if possible).
